Speech Pathologist
Rochester, NY
You will be treating a variety of speech and language delays and disorders in an outpatient clinic setting, primarily working with children ages 2-12 years old (some younger/older may apply). Services are either accessed through the family’s private insurance plan or through private pay fees. Treatment sessions are scheduled one-on-one for 30-45 minutes and evaluations for 60 minutes, with an average of 8-10 sessions per day.
Required Education and Experience

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York State

2+ years of experience in pediatrics required

Perform appropriate evaluations to children of variety of ages to determine the need for speech therapy services.

Ensure valid prescriptions are written for all clients on caseload

Develop and carry out appropriate treatment sessions based on goals and plan of care developed during evaluation

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience with documentation in web-based EMR systems preferred
